Growing up Janice learned from a very young age to regularly sit quietly for hours at a time with family in boats in the middle of nature.  Over the years, this led to her developing a natural Shinto-like Zen practice with a variety of activities that are family oriented.

In her early 40's, Janice began a more serious pursuit of her practice under the informal Zen guidance of Dosen, a Soto Zen priest.  Practicing misogi and kototama, together they share a flowing Zen perspective of the pure Light, love, courage and peace of the Universe.

Today, Janice teaches - like a monastic sister - how to have a relationship with the pure Light, Love, Courage and Peace of the Universe based on the Universe being our greatest teacher and friend and following a naturally flowing Zen Path of Pure Light.  Monastic rule for monastics.

The pure flowing Light of the Universe is our Light.
